Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain municipal facilities including parks, community centers, and public restrooms
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on city infrastructure
- Respond to citizen inquiries and service requests with professionalism
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on urban beautification projects
- Ensure compliance with municipal safety regulations and environmental standards
- Assist in emergency response coordination during severe weather events
- Participate in community outreach and public education programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of municipal maintenance or public services experience
- Valid Washington State driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour construction safety certification
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic proficiency with maintenance tools and equipment
