Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of municipal vehicles, equipment, and facilities.
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of public infrastructure, including roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems.
- Respond to emergency calls and public service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Operate heavy machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Document work orders and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Florida Class E Driver’s License required.
- Previous experience in maintenance, construction, or public works is highly preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
