Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of streetlights, traffic signals, and signage across the city.
- Clear snow and ice from roads, sidewalks, and public right-of-ways during winter operations.
- Operate heavy machinery, including backhoes, loaders, and dump trucks, following all safety protocols.
- Inspect and maintain storm drains, catch basins, and sewer lines to prevent flooding and ensure environmental compliance.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and work orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure all equipment is clean, maintained, and in safe operating condition.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Colorado Class C Driverβs License with a satisfactory driving record.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, and perform manual labor in all weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and hand tools is highly preferred.
- Ability to pass a post-offer physical examination and a criminal background check.
