Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city streets, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light machinery and hand tools for landscaping and construction tasks
- Assist in stormwater management and drainage system upkeep
- Respond to public service requests and emergency maintenance calls
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and municipal safety protocols
- Participate in seasonal projects (snow removal, park maintenance)
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to follow verbal/written instructions independently
