Responsibilities
- Operate light machinery (mowers, trimmers, sweepers) for park and street maintenance
- Perform litter pickup, debris removal, and landscape upkeep in public areas
- Assist with storm drain cleaning and minor infrastructure repairs
- Support event setup/teardown for community gatherings and festivals
- Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to supervisors
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and city environmental standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas Driver's License (Class C or higher)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in outdoor conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and equipment operation
- Strong work ethic with punctuality and reliability
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (training provided)
