Responsibilities
- Maintain public spaces, parks, and infrastructure according to city standards
- Operate and maintain municipal equipment safely and efficiently
- Respond to service requests and emergencies with urgency
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on public works projects
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and stakeholders
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean record
- Minimum 1 year experience in public works or related field
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment operation skills
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training available)
- Pass background check and drug screening
