Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on public facilities, parks, and infrastructure
- Operate light machinery and specialized equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist in emergency response operations during weather events or community incidents
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on public works and sanitation projects
- Ensure compliance with all city regulations and safety protocols

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and equipment operation
- Strong teamwork skills and commitment to public service values
- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment physical
- Previous municipal or public sector experience preferred
