Responsibilities
- Maintain public parks, streetscapes, and municipal facilities through landscaping, cleaning, and minor repairs
- Operate light machinery and equipment for maintenance tasks
- Assist with seasonal projects including snow removal, event setup, and vegetation management
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and city regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure initiatives
- Document work activities and submit maintenance reports
- Respond to citizen inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean record
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Preferred: 1+ years in municipal maintenance or similar field
