Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance on city parks, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems)
- Assist with traffic control and street maintenance during emergencies
- Conduct safety inspections and report hazards promptly
- Support community events setup and breakdown logistics
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for city projects
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona Driver's License (Class C or higher)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and equipment safety
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays
- Strong communication skills and commitment to public service
