Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city parks, streets, and public facilities
- Operate light machinery (mowers, trimmers, snow removal equipment)
- Assist in waste collection and recycling programs
- Respond to citizen service requests within designated areas
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Complete accurate daily activity reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Missouri driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and equipment operation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Preferred: 1+ years of public works or maintenance experience
