Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of parks, streets, and public facilities
- Operate heavy machinery (e.g., lawnmowers, trimmers, trucks) safely and efficiently
- Respond to emergency weather conditions (hurricanes, floods) for public safety
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Enforce municipal codes and conduct property inspections
- Assist with community events and beautification initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Florida Driver's License with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Experience in landscaping, construction, or public works
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Background check and drug screening required
