Responsibilities
- Maintain parks, trails, and recreational facilities ensuring safety and cleanliness
- Operate maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, and hand tools
- Assist with event setup and breakdown for community gatherings
- Perform seasonal groundskeeping tasks including planting and irrigation
- Conduct routine inspections and report facility maintenance needs
- Support public education initiatives on park conservation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Kentucky driver's license with clean record
- Experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or facility maintenance preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of OSHA safety protocols
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
