Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city sidewalks, curbs, and storm drains
- Operate light machinery (sweepers, mowers, pressure washers)
- Support park maintenance including landscaping and litter removal
- Assist with snow/ice control during winter months
- Conduct safety inspections of public infrastructure
- Document work activities and submit daily reports
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on special projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and work in all weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Ability to read maps and follow written instructions
- Experience with hand/power tools preferred
