Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on city streets, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate heavy machinery including dump trucks, loaders, and asphalt equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist in storm cleanup, snow removal, and emergency response operations
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate work logs and follow municipal safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams for infrastructure projects
- Participate in community outreach initiatives for public infrastructure awareness
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Oklahoma Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in construction, landscaping, or public works
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
