Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance of public parks, recreational facilities, and municipal buildings
- Operate and maintain light/heavy equipment including mowers, tractors, and utility vehicles
- Assist in infrastructure repairs including sidewalks, signage, and drainage systems
- Implement safety protocols for work zones and hazardous material handling
- Document daily operations using digital reporting systems and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on special projects and emergency response
- Participate in seasonal beautification initiatives and community events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in public works, landscaping, or facility maintenance
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and basic landscaping equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
