Responsibilities
- Collect and dispose of residential/commercial waste following city protocols
- Operate sanitation trucks and specialized equipment safely
- Maintain assigned routes and service schedules
- Report infrastructure hazards and maintenance needs
- Interact professionally with residents during service
- Perform routine equipment inspections and minor repairs
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and city safety regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Maryland driver's license (Class B preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor
- Experience with heavy equipment operation preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
