Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance of parks, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light machinery (e.g., mowers, trimmers, pressure washers)
- Assist in stormwater management and drainage system upkeep
- Support waste collection and recycling initiatives
- Respond to citizen service requests for municipal repairs
- Participate in emergency response and disaster recovery efforts
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona Driver's License (Class C)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tool operation
- Strong commitment to public service and community values
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
