Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance on city roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate heavy machinery including dump trucks, graders, and snow removal equipment
- Manage park upkeep including landscaping, irrigation, and recreational facility repairs
- Respond promptly to weather emergencies and disaster recovery operations
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and municipal safety regulations
- Document work activities and equipment usage in digital reporting systems
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams for large-scale projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Colorado Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years experience in public works or construction
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic proficiency with GPS and digital mapping tools
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
