Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain city equipment (snow plows, street sweepers, etc.)
- Perform public space maintenance (parks, sidewalks, storm drains)
- Execute infrastructure repair projects (road markings, traffic signals)
- Enforce municipal codes and safety regulations
- Respond to emergency weather conditions
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams
- Document work activities and equipment usage
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid Wisconsin Class B driver's license
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment operation skills
- Strong commitment to public service ethics
- Ability to pass background check and physical fitness assessment
