Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain municipal equipment (snow plows, street sweepers, etc.)
- Perform infrastructure repairs (roads, sidewalks, drainage systems)
- Conduct routine inspections of public facilities and utilities
- Execute emergency response protocols during weather events
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams for project coordination
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and municipal regulations
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Wisconsin Class B CDL license
- Minimum 2 years' heavy equipment operation experience
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong commitment to public service and community values
