Responsibilities
- Maintain city parks, playgrounds, and recreational facilities
- Operate and maintain public groundskeeping equipment
- Perform snow removal and street maintenance duties
- Assist with public event setup and breakdown
- Conduct routine inspections of municipal infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on special projects
- Ensure compliance with city safety protocols and environmental standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Experience with groundskeeping or maintenance work preferred
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to obtain required certifications
