Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city streets, sidewalks, and public buildings
- Operate heavy machinery (snow plows, graders, etc.) safely and efficiently
- Assist in emergency response during severe weather events
- Conduct daily inspections of municipal infrastructure and report issues
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on infrastructure projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and city safety regulations
- Support community events through setup and logistical coordination
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Wisconsin Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class B) preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in construction, maintenance, or related field
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for reporting systems
