Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city parks, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist in snow removal, street sweeping, and storm debris cleanup
- Conduct daily safety inspections of municipal properties and equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure improvement projects
- Adhere to all city regulations and safety protocols
- Document work activities and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Nebraska driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in construction, landscaping, or maintenance
- Ability to operate power tools and light machinery (training provided)
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
