Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of public parks, streets, and recreational facilities
- Operate heavy machinery including trucks, tractors, and landscaping equipment
- Respond to emergency weather-related service requests within 24 hours
- Conduct routine inspections of municipal infrastructure and document findings
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams for city-wide event support
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and city protocols
- Assist in community outreach initiatives for public service awareness
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of public works or landscaping experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of municipal infrastructure maintenance practices
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
