Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on public facilities, parks, and infrastructure
- Operate heavy machinery including mowers, trucks, and specialized equipment

- Assist in emergency response and disaster recovery operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments on public works projects
- Document maintenance activities and submit accurate reports

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment operation skills
- Strong commitment to public service and community values
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Experience in municipal work or landscaping preferred
