Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and incidents in real-time to ensure system integrity.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (NIST, ISO 27001) across all network segments.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement robust network architecture and disaster recovery protocols.
- Document security incidents, findings, and resolutions to maintain a comprehensive audit trail.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security, network engineering, or IT infrastructure.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CCNA Security are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network protocols.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint protection solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
