Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of government buildings, grounds, and parking lots to ensure safety and deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor and control access points, verifying credentials and issuing visitor passes for authorized personnel.
- Respond promptly to security alarms, emergency situations, and medical incidents within facility premises.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily logs and incident reports regarding security observations and irregularities.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during critical events.
- Perform routine inspections of fire safety equipment and emergency exits to ensure compliance with state regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Class C Security License (or ability to obtain within 90 days) in the state of Oklahoma.
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to de-escalate conflicts.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
