Responsibilities
- Review and Process: Analyze incoming federal claims and correspondence to determine eligibility and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Customer Communication: Provide clear, professional, and compassionate responses to inquiries via phone, email, and secure portals during night shifts.
- Data Integrity: Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure strict adherence to federal data privacy regulations.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot complex issues by collaborating with the day-shift support team and federal agency stakeholders.
- Compliance: Ensure all processing actions comply with established federal policies, guidelines, and security protocols.
- Reporting: Generate and submit nightly activity reports to supervisors to track performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Federal Background Investigation (Public Trust) clearance.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service, claims processing, or administrative support.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with government case management systems (preferred).
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM or 8:00 PM - 4:00 AM).
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or technical certification in a related field is a plus.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
