Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain federal servers, network hardware, and security systems during night shift operations.
- Perform routine system backups, patch management, and security audits to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Respond to and resolve technical support tickets and emergency system outages.
- Document system configurations, incident reports, and maintenance logs accurately.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to ensure seamless transition of ongoing projects and issues.
- Conduct routine physical inspections of IT equipment and data centers.
- Ensure data integrity and availability for all federal systems.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a government security clearance.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or network engineering.
- Proficient in Windows Server, Linux, and Active Directory environments.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
