Responsibilities
- Implement and manage security protocols to protect federal networks and data.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Monitor system activity for security breaches and anomalies.
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST, and other federal standards.
- Provide technical guidance to junior staff and stakeholders.
- Respond to security incidents and conduct post-incident analysis.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret or Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in federal IT or government contracting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of network security tools (FireEye, Splunk, etc.).
- Experience with CIS Controls and risk management frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
