Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain federal network infrastructure and systems during the night shift to ensure 24/7 operational readiness.
- Respond to and resolve technical incidents and service tickets with minimal disruption to federal operations.
- Execute routine security patches, software updates, and hardware maintenance tasks.
- Document system changes, incidents, and resolutions in accordance with federal ITIL standards.
- Collaborate with day-shift operations teams to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and issue resolution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent military experience).
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain one).
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network engineering.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and common networking protocols.
- Must be available and willing to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
