Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining system availability, resolving technical incidents, and ensuring compliance with federal cybersecurity standards during the night shift.
Responsibilities
- Monitor network infrastructure, servers, and applications for anomalies or outages.
- Respond to and resolve Level 3 IT support tickets with minimal supervision.
- Execute routine security patches and updates to maintain system integrity.
- Perform backups and system recovery procedures as required.
- Document all incidents and resolutions in the Federal Service Desk system.
- Collaborate with day-shift engineering teams for complex troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in federal or government contracting environments.
- Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Cisco networking.
- Strong understanding of NIST cybersecurity frameworks.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
