Responsibilities
- Manage and archive government documents, ensuring strict compliance with state and federal retention schedules.
- Perform high-volume data entry and verification of sensitive records with zero tolerance for errors.
- Monitor security systems and access logs for the facility during the night shift.
- Communicate with other departments and external agencies to retrieve or submit information promptly.
- Maintain the digital records management system (RMS) and ensure backups are secure.
- Prepare daily shift reports and resolve any discrepancies in inventory logs.
- Assist in the physical organization of archives and facility maintenance as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Records Management or Public Administration preferred.
- Previous experience in a government, legal, or corporate records environment is highly desirable.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) and weekends.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with government database software (e.g., RMS, iManage).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during the night shift.
- Pass a standard background check and drug screen.
