Responsibilities
- Monitor server health, network traffic, and system performance metrics 24/7 during night shifts.
- Respond to and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues in real-time.
- Execute routine system backups, patch management, and security updates outside of peak operational hours.
- Ensure compliance with federal security protocols, including access control and audit trails.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and system changes in the central ticketing system.
- Collaborate with day-shift engineering teams to resolve complex infrastructure issues.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent military experience).
- Proven experience working in a NOC or IT Support environment.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals.
- Ability to work the night shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) consistently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- U.S. Citizenship required for government clearance eligibility.
