Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage server infrastructure, applications, and databases during night shifts.
- Execute scheduled system backups and patch management procedures.
- Respond to and resolve technical incidents and service tickets with high priority.
- Ensure data security compliance and perform routine security audits.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to transition operational handovers smoothly.
- Troubleshoot hardware and network connectivity issues for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Proven experience in system administration within a government or enterprise environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified Professional.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and Active Directory.
- Willingness to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
