Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure and server environments.
- Ensure compliance with federal security standards, including FedRAMP and NIST guidelines.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Lead incident response efforts for critical system outages.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Collaborate with software developers to integrate new applications into existing systems.
- Mentor junior staff and conduct technical training sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration, network engineering, or IT infrastructure.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or AWS Solutions Architect preferred.
- Deep knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
