Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor NIST cybersecurity frameworks across federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on government networks
- Manage incident response protocols for security breaches
- Develop security policies compliant with FISMA and FedRAMP standards
- Collaborate with federal agencies on threat intelligence sharing
- Lead security awareness training for federal employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years experience in federal IT security compliance
- Active CISSP or Security+ certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight)
- Knowledge of FedRAMP and NIST 800-53 controls
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) platforms
