Responsibilities
- Patrol designated neighborhoods during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Respond to emergency calls and investigate incidents
- Enforce city, state, and federal laws
- Document incidents and maintain detailed reports
- Collaborate with dispatch and other emergency services
- Conduct traffic stops and accident investigations
- Engage in community outreach and crime prevention initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Valid California POST Basic Academy Certificate
- Valid California driver's license
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and polygraph examination
- Physical fitness test clearance
- No felony convictions
- Ability to work rotating night shifts
