Responsibilities
- Process 911 calls and dispatch emergency services (police, fire, medical) during night shift hours
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and real-time situational awareness
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Operate CAD/RMS systems and communication equipment
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in criminal justice preferred
- Minimum 1 year dispatch/emergency services experience
- Valid California POST Public Safety Dispatcher certification
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
- Proficiency in multi-tasking under high-pressure conditions
- Clear speaking voice and excellent communication skills
- Pass background check and psychological evaluation
