Responsibilities
- Process 911 calls and dispatch emergency services during night shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Maintain accurate incident documentation in CAD systems
- Coordinate multi-agency responses for critical incidents
- Provide crisis intervention to callers during high-stress situations
- Operate radio communication systems for public safety agencies
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive information
- Participate in continuous training for emergency protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year emergency communications experience
- Valid California Driver's License
- Ability to pass extensive background check and psychological evaluation
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Working knowledge of CAD/RMS systems
- Fluency in English and Spanish required
- Ability to remain composed during critical incidents
