Responsibilities
- Patrol designated city zones during overnight hours to maintain public safety and deter criminal activity
- Respond to emergency calls, accidents, and citizen incidents with rapid professional intervention
- Conduct thorough documentation of incidents, reports, and evidence following protocol
- Monitor surveillance systems and security infrastructure for city facilities
- Collaborate with day shift teams to ensure seamless continuity of operations
- Participate in specialized night shift training drills and scenario exercises
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in criminal justice preferred
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean record
- Basic Law Enforcement Certification (TCLEOSE) or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Minimum 1 year security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight hours
- Strong communication skills and crisis management capabilities
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
