Responsibilities
- Monitor premises via surveillance systems and patrols to prevent unauthorized access
- Respond promptly to security breaches, emergencies, and incidents
- Document daily activities, incidents, and security observations in detailed reports
- Enforce access control procedures for staff, visitors, and vehicles
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services during critical incidents
- Conduct regular safety inspections of facilities and equipment
- Maintain radio communication with dispatch and security team members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Ohio Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission (OPOTC) certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight hours
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- First Aid/CPR certification within 90 days of hire
- Pass extensive background check and drug screening
