Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol government buildings, parking lots, and perimeters during night shifts to deter unauthorized access.
- Operate security monitoring systems, including CCTV and alarm panels, to identify and respond to potential threats.
- Conduct routine inspections of facility locks, doors, and windows to ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Respond immediately to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies, following established emergency response procedures.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and logs regarding daily activities, suspicious persons, or security breaches.
- Verify credentials and conduct searches of individuals entering restricted government areas.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid California Driverβs License with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is highly preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical duties as required.
- Strong observation skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Basic computer literacy and typing skills for reporting.
