Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray and CT screening equipment to identify prohibited items in carry-on and checked baggage.
- Perform physical pat-downs and conduct advanced imaging technology screenings with strict adherence to privacy regulations.
- Interact professionally with passengers of all backgrounds, providing clear instructions and assistance.
- Maintain a vigilant watch for suspicious behavior and respond immediately to security threats.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure smooth passenger flow and efficient checkpoint operations.
- Adhere to all TSA security directives, protocols, and safety procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation, including fingerprinting and drug screening.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Must be available to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
