Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure city facilities during overnight hours using advanced surveillance systems
- Conduct regular patrols and access control checks at designated government properties
- Respond promptly to security incidents and emergency situations with appropriate protocols
- Document all security activities and submit detailed incident reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Maintain communication with dispatch center and security team leadership
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon Security License or ability to obtain within 30 days
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently in low-visibility conditions
- Strong observational and conflict resolution skills
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clear background check and drug-free workplace compliance
