Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure municipal facilities during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Conduct routine patrols and access control at government buildings
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate with law enforcement agencies
- Operate security systems including CCTV, alarms, and access control software
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed activity logs
- Collaborate with emergency management teams during crisis situations
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Security Officer D License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and security monitoring systems
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
