Responsibilities
- Patrol municipal facilities and critical infrastructure during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Operate advanced surveillance systems and access control technologies
- Respond to security alerts and emergency incidents with proper protocols
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain security documentation
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services during critical situations
- Conduct perimeter checks and vulnerability assessments of city properties
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado Security Officer certification or equivalent law enforcement background
- Minimum 2 years experience in security or protective services
- Ability to pass extensive background check and fingerprint clearance
- Proficient in CCTV systems, access control software, and radio communications
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain government security clearance
