Responsibilities
- Process 911 and non-emergency calls with speed and precision
- Coordinate police, fire, and EMS resources during emergencies
- Maintain accurate call logs and incident documentation
- Operate CAD systems and radio communication equipment
- Provide critical information to first responders in real-time
- Remain calm under pressure during high-stress situations
- Multi-task between multiple communication channels simultaneously
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license (required within 6 months)
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM (tested during application)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Clear speaking voice and excellent diction
- Ability to work rotating shifts (nights, weekends, holidays)
- Strong decision-making skills under pressure
- U.S. citizenship and PA residency required
