Responsibilities
- Monitor city facilities and surveillance systems during overnight hours
- Conduct regular patrols and security assessments of government properties
- Respond to alarms and emergency incidents with law enforcement coordination

- Enforce access control procedures for restricted areas
- Collaborate with day-shift teams for seamless security operations
- Participate in mandatory safety drills and training programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid Kansas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic first aid/CPR certification (training provided if needed)
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Experience in security, law enforcement, or military (preferred)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods in various weather conditions
