Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly inspections of public facilities, transportation systems, and critical infrastructure
- Document findings using digital reporting tools and photographic evidence
- Coordinate emergency response protocols during off-peak hours
- Maintain detailed inspection logs and regulatory compliance documentation
- Collaborate with day-shift teams for seamless continuity of operations
- Operate specialized inspection equipment (night vision, thermal scanners)
- Submit daily reports to State Department of Public Works leadership
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid California Driver's License with clean record
- Ability to work independently in low-visibility conditions
- Basic computer proficiency for digital reporting systems
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Physical ability to walk 5+ miles during shift
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must be available to work 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Monday-Friday)
